S. 5654 — Protecting Florida's Offshore Military Readiness Act

This section imposes a moratorium, effective upon enactment, on oil and gas leasing, preleasing, production, or related activities in the Eglin Gulf Test and Training Range. It leaves valid existing leases unaffected and terminates the moratorium upon certification by the Secretary of War to Congress that the range is no longer of critical use.
