S. 4164 — A bill to make technical corrections to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026.

This section makes technical corrections to provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (P.L. 119-60). (1) It revises judge advocate qualifications in 10 U.S.C. 806(a)(1)(B), as added by section 561(a) of that Act, to require maintaining a license status in good standing that provides eligibility to practice law. (2) It strikes “posthumous” from the heading of section 592 of that Act, which authorizes award of the Army Distinguished Service Cross to Isaac “Ike” Camacho for acts of valor in Vietnam.
