H.Res. 1468 — Encouraging Congress to pursue reforms to ensure that all United States citizens contribute to funding the operations of the Federal Government in proportion to the economic gains they realize.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that the Federal tax code should apply consistent treatment to all income regardless of source or form. It encourages Congress to pursue tax reforms ensuring all citizens contribute to Federal operations in proportion to their economic gains and directs the Committee on Ways and Means to hold hearings on the disparate treatment of wage income versus capital-derived wealth.
