This section condemns Lebanese Hezbollah’s flagrant and repeated violations of ceasefire agreements, including its undermining of Lebanese sovereignty and attacks against Israel. It calls on the Lebanese Government and Armed Forces to ensure Hezbollah immediately ceases attacks on Israel and removes its weapons and military infrastructure from the South Litani Sector; supports U.S.-brokered negotiations between Israel and Lebanon; and reaffirms that the future relationship between the two countries must be decided by their sovereign governments, rejecting interference by Iran or Hezbollah.
