H.Res. 1321 — Calling on the Government of Nigeria to ensure that all legal proceedings involving Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are conducted in full accordance with Nigeria's constitutional obligations and international human rights commitments.

This section calls on the Government of Nigeria to ensure due process in all legal proceedings involving Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, consistent with the findings of the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention. It urges the Government of Nigeria to provide consistent access to legal counsel, medical care, and humane detention conditions; encourages the Secretary of State to engage on these issues; and reaffirms the United States commitment to human rights, freedom of expression, and the rule of law.
