H.Res. 1319 — Ending child poverty.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that no child should experience poverty and that a national child poverty reduction target should be established. It supports making permanent the 2021 Child Tax Credit expansions that reduced child poverty and narrowed gaps for Black, Hispanic, and American Indian/Alaska Native children, along with increased federal investments in child care, pre-K, Head Start, and equitable public education from pre-K through grade 12.
