H.R. 9793 — Weaponization Offender Claims Ban Act of 2026

This section bars private individuals convicted of assault or battery against a federal law enforcement officer, offenses related to interference with federal elections or governmental processes, felonies arising from confrontations with such officers, or felonies involving theft, embezzlement, misuse of federal funds, or obstruction of federal oversight from bringing claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act exception for intentional torts by federal investigative or law enforcement officers.
