This section directs the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration to review, within 6 months of enactment and in consultation with helicopter, air medical, general aviation, agricultural, and uncrewed aircraft operators plus aviation safety experts, existing policies and regulations on low-altitude airspace safety. The review must examine obstruction marking and lighting requirements for slacklines and similar temporary hazards, Notices to Airmen and digital obstacle data, coordination with the National Park Service and other land agencies, penalty sufficiency, and outreach to non-aviation users. If the review finds marking policies inadequate, the Administrator must update regulations, guidance, or policies within 1 year and brief the Senate and House committees on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Appropriations on the findings, updates, and any legislative recommendations within 90 days after completing the review.
