No CRS summary available for this bill.
This section directs the Secretary of State, in coordination with the Secretary of Energy, to submit a report to Congress within 180 days on energy production, imports, and consumption in Moldova; transparency of energy pricing and billing practices; vulnerabilities in energy infrastructure; ongoing international cooperation efforts on training, interoperability, professional military education, and human rights; and the potential for renewable energy development including geothermal, solar, and wind resources, along with feasibility, investment needs, and barriers to deployment. It also expresses the sense of Congress that the United States and Moldova have maintained a strategic bilateral relationship for over 30 years, deepened by Russia’s war against Ukraine.
