H.R. 9164 — FRESH Act

This section establishes a milk storage equipment grant program under the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act. The program awards competitive grants to local educational agencies, school food authorities, tribal organizations, and consortia to acquire and install cold storage equipment or milk dispensers in elementary and secondary schools, with a federal share of up to 75 percent, and authorizes appropriations of $4 million for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2031.
