H.R. 3657 — Hydropower Licensing Transparency Act

This section requires the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to submit a report to Congress, not later than 180 days after enactment and annually thereafter, on the status of licensing processes for new and subsequent licenses under section 15 and original licenses under section 4(e) where the applicant notified the Commission at least three years earlier but the license has not yet been issued. Each report must include the notice date, docket number, application status and anticipated issuance date, upcoming proceedings, and descriptions of required actions by the applicant, Commission, and agencies, disaggregated by license type.
