H.R. 10847 — Military Justice Leadership and Independence Act

This section sets the grade of lieutenant general for the Judge Advocate General of the Army, the Staff Judge Advocate to the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and the Judge Advocate General of the Air Force while serving in those positions. It sets the grade of vice admiral or lieutenant general for the Judge Advocate General of the Navy, and requires the respective deputy positions in each service to hold the grade of major general or rear admiral.
