H.R. 10690 — Capital Loss Inflation Fairness Act

This section increases the annual limit on deductible net capital losses for noncorporate taxpayers to $14,250 (from $3,000), or $7,125 (from $1,500) for married individuals filing separately. It adds inflation adjustments for taxable years beginning after 2026 and applies the new limits to losses in taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025.
